Manuscript Review

If you feel like something might be missing from your manuscript or would like to get another person’s perspective who has been trained to spot the issues in a story, let me look over your work. 

What to expect with a full manuscript evaluation:

· A thorough reading of your manuscript

· A phone call to go over my feedback - this will generally last around 40 minutes, but length depends upon the needs of your manuscript.

· Comments made in Word’s track changes—many of these will be questions designed to dig deeper into certain aspects—a character or event. I will make a note when something is unclear or needs more development, for example. I’ll also be sure to let you know the things you’re doing right, as well, so you can keep it up!

· An editorial letter that will give you an in-depth look at big picture issues—like plot holes and cause-and-effect trajectory, just to name a few. This letter will also contain the next steps I believe will be most critical to taking your manuscript to the next level.

What to expect with this package: We'll work together on a series of exercises to clarify your message and story, put together an outline, and more! By the time we're finished, you will be ready and excited to write your initial draft or revise it! This package includes two rounds of feedback and a phone call to go over my feedback and next steps.
