About Your Coach and KBC

KBC was born while I was working for a small science fiction publisher. It was my dream job. That's what I thought at first, anyway… but the publishing schedule simply did not allow me to spend enough time nourishing and shaping our authors’ books. 

It was so hard to walk away... but I had to. 

I went on to take writing courses through the EFA. The day I found out book coaching is an actual career that exists, and that I could continue to work with writers and actually give them the support they need—that day ranks up there above venturing out to take my first cruise on my own! I knew immediately this was the answer to being able to walk with each author closely through the process of writing their novel and that I am called to coach.

Today, I am thrilled to say that I’m certified through Author Accelerator to coach fiction! I also coach narrative memoir.
